🌐 WebJam 2025 Participant Information
Welcome to WebJam, a week-long web and mobile app development competition hosted by the ICS Student Council! Throughout the week, you’ll collaborate in teams to build a fully functional project while attending workshops and community events designed to help you learn and grow as a developer.
🗓️ Schedule
Dates: Monday, November 3rd – Friday, November 7th
Time: 7:00-9:00PM Mon, 6:00-8:00PM Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri
Monday (Opening Ceremony): Kick off WebJam, learn about the rules and theme, and form teams.
Tuesday-Thursday: Optional drop-in events and workshops to help you with your projects.
Friday (Closing Ceremony): Present your projects and celebrate the week’s achievements!
We highly recommend attending all events throghout the week.
👥 Team Formation
A team formation form will be sent out at the end of the opening ceremony.
If you’re still looking for teammates, join the team formation channel on the WebJam Discord.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a team yet—you’ll have the option to be matched into a random group.

Is thought put into the user experience? How well-designed is the user interface? A top project in this category would have an intuitive design that is easily understandable. -
Innovation
How original is the idea behind the project? Does the project build off an existing idea, or is it a novel idea? A top project in this category would have a unique idea that solves an impactful problem for a significant group of people. -
Technical Difficulty
Is the project technically impressive and complex? How ambitious are the technologies used in the project? A top project in this category would use a variety of APIs and/or different types of web technologies or otherwise be technically impressive. -
Presentation
How well did the team present their project? Is the purpose behind the project clear? A top project in this category would have a strong presentation that clearly describes the intent behind the project and its usage within the designated time frame.
